What if you could hyper personalize hundreds of emails in just a few minutes?

After 2 years building our previous company, my co-founder Guillermo and I decided to launch our new venture, Reach. Both of us have backgrounds in sales and BD and have collectively sent thousands of cold emails to prospects over the years.

There are plenty of best practices when it comes to sending a quality cold email likely to elicit a response, but one of the greatest determinants of success is how personalized the email is for each recipient. Personalizing emails shows the recipient that you did your research and specifically/intentionally decided to reach out to them. Feeling seen and special is one hell of a drug.

In a world where we’re all inundated with unsolicited messages, it’s easy to ignore generic communication that uses the same template for each recipient. And that’s generally what happens. Most people engaging in high volume outreach are achieving extremely low response rates thanks to this tactic.

The challenge however is personalizing one’s email outreach at scale. Personalization is extremely time consuming and when you have a long lead list to get through it can seem incompatible. Guillermo and I have struggled with this for years. We knew that spending more time on each email personalizing its content would increase the likelihood of a reply, but we often found ourselves foregoing personalization in exchange for volume. Enter Reach. Reach is a SaaS tool that generates personalized icebreaker messages based on a prospect’s LinkedIn profile or company website (soon we’ll also have news, social media, company blogs etc.). These messages can then be added to your email template and sequence.

Reach increases email response rates and boosts the engagement at the top of the funnel. What used to take us hours and even days each week is now generated for us in a matter of minutes. You can expect an enormous productivity and conversion rate improvement.

Reach finally makes it possible to automate the last piece of the outbound sales workflow: personalization.

So what exactly can you do with Reach? You can upload your lead list manually or as a CSV provided that you have either a website URL or LinkedIn profile URL associated with each lead. Reach will then automatically grab the information from the URL and will generate 2 icebreaker messages for that lead. You can then select the message you like best and export them individually or in bulk. From there it’s simple to add them to your email or sequence. Here are some examples of personalized icebreaker messages generated by Reach:

  • I'm reading the summary of your job experience and it sounds like you're working on a project to reinvent the renovation process. I'd love to learn more about your approach.
  • I read Rex's recommendation on your profile and it seems like you're a strategic thinker and can run successful businesses. You also seem like a person who enjoys getting your hands dirty and solving new business problems.
  • I saw you mentioned working for Google, and I assume it's been exciting. I like how you used your skills to help SME's companies become global.

We’re currently in Beta, but plan on launching publicly very soon. The product is fairly bare bones at the moment. We’re making improvements each day and we have an ambitious vision for what this can become, even beyond text based messaging.
