A peek at Reach v2

A peek at Reach v2

When we launched Reach we set out to solve a problem that we as sales people are intimately familiar with. We wanted to make it faster and easier for sales reps to personalize their email outreach so there wouldn’t have to be a tradeoff between personalization and volume. There needed to be a faster way to personalize emails in a meaningful way.

Making sales reps more efficient is at the heart of what we do at Reach. Saving time has obviously wonderful benefits for reps and sales teams alike. But our vision goes beyond boosting efficiency alone. We’re deeply committed to improving efficacy as well. Meaning, Reach will also make reps better at personalization, not just faster at it. Each product iteration is aimed at improving both metrics: efficiency and efficacy.

Imagine a sales rep who no longer needs to open 5 browser tabs to comb through disparate pieces of information, to only then try to come up with something clever and meaningful to say to their prospect. Imagine having everything you need at your fingertips so you can work 20x faster than the status quo. But also try to imagine an assistant that aggregates the right data, knows what’s relevant and suggests what you should write based on insights that aren’t immediately obvious. That’s the target that keeps us deeply focused.

With every release we are manifesting our vision. In the coming days we’ll be releasing the beta for Reach v2. After months of work and conversations with our customers, we are excited to finally share what you can expect:

UI/UX Redesign

We’ve redesigned Reach to be organized around your lead lists. We know that the majority of outbound sales teams work with lead lists and therefore Reach should reflect that. You can easily see who each lead is, their role, their company and what data sources are available. Lists can change and Reach makes it simple to add new lists, move leads from one list to another and completely determine the organization that meets your needs.

Integrations with your favorite tools

A central focus for this release has been on adding direct integrations with the primary tools found in a sales team tech stack. We’re releasing v2 with Salesforce and SalesLoft integrations. The Salesforce integration will make it easy to import lead lists from the company CRM in a matter of seconds. The SalesLoft integration will make it easy to export personalized icebreakers directly to email sequences in bulk. We’ll release HubSpot and Outreach integrations shortly after, followed by others. In and out in a few clicks.

Data aggregation

You should have what you need to make informed decisions regarding personalization in a centralized place. To that end we are making it easy for you to see which data is available that’s relevant to each prospect. Reach grabs all the available data and displays it in an easy to read format so that you can quickly decide what’s most impactful.

Data prioritization and control

Everyone is different. And what works for one sales rep or team won’t necessarily work for another. One rep might prefer LinkedIn Activity data while another might prefer Company Blogs. With v2 we’re giving the control back to the reps. You can determine which data you want Reach to fetch and the order in which it is used for personalization. Now that data is being aggregated for each lead, you can easily select alternate data sources when regenerating icebreakers if you see a data source you like better.

We’re constantly working on making Reach better. With v2 we’re confident that this is a big step in the right direction. But we still have a lot of work in front of us and we look forward to making the necessary improvements that’ll make reps more efficient and effective at email personalization.

In the coming days and weeks we’ll be sharing more information about these changes, their value and how to get the most out of them.
